With an aim to bring back the focus on human values of peace, love and harmony, in the midst of war and turmoil, Gurudev launched the global ‘I Stand for Peace’ campaign from the headquarters of the UN Geneva. Gurudev himself traveled across Europe-Germany, Poland, and Switzerland, where he was enthusiastically joined by thousands in this campaign. The campaign now moves to the US in over 30 cities in the next month.
We need to judiciously use our planet’s resources, ensuring a balance between sustainability & development. Every section of society should focus on reducing consumerism & developing a responsible attitude towards the environment.
After a gap of 2.5 years, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar visited Europe. Spain was the first country on his itinerary. The events in Spain included evenings of music, wisdom and meditation along with silence programs with Gurudev.

On March 20, a few days before The Art of Living turns 40, Gurudev revisited Shivamogga, the place where it all began. On the occasion, he inaugurated the Temple of Knowledge (Gyankshetra) in the quaint town where The Art of Living’s meditation programs and events will be conducted.
