The ‘I Stand for Peace’ movement continues through South America. After visiting Guyana and Brazil, Gurudev conducted mega events in Bolivia and Chile. The Bolivian government issued a declaration of honor for Art of Living’s work.

Gurudev appealed to the agitating youth in India to adopt the path of dialogue and give up violence.

With an aim to bring back the focus on human values of peace, love and harmony, in the midst of war and turmoil, Gurudev launched the global ‘I Stand for Peace’ campaign from the headquarters of the UN Geneva. Gurudev himself traveled across Europe-Germany, Poland, and Switzerland, where he was enthusiastically joined by thousands in this campaign. The campaign now moves to the US in over 30 cities in the next month.

“Prosperity depends on peace. We need to give peace education. The amount of money we spend on defense, even .01% what every country spends on missiles, if they spend on peace education, the world will be a much better place.”

The Art of Living volunteers in Europe have moved into action to provide all the support to those who are fleeing Ukraine including thousands of Indian students.
