To break the monotony during the Coronavirus lockdown in India, Gurudev gave a unique creative challenge to the men for the week. His challenge was that the men cook and women go on a “cooking strike” on Monday, April 6th.
How about #WomenOnStrike on Monday? #LetMenCook
Women can guide others in the house, including children to cook. In some cases, it might be tougher to teach than to cook yourself but it's worth the challenge.#LockdownAdventures— Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (@SriSri) April 3, 2020
Ever since the Government of India initiated a lockdown to control the spread of the Covid-19 infection, the families have been spending most time indoors. Most homemakers being women, were working more than usual managing the homes and the family. This challenge came as a much welcome break for the homemakers and an opportunity to be creative for the others who do not usually cook in their homes.
Taking up the challenge, Gurudev made a couple of dishes himself inspiring others to do the same.
