Later, an MoU was signed between Sri Sri University and the Ural Federal University to collaborate in the field of student and research mobility. Gurudev was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Ural Federal University for his contribution to the development of intercultural dialogue.

Later, Gurudev visited the city of Ekaterinburg, in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia, on the invitation from the Governor H.E. Yevgeny Vladimirovich Kuyvashev. He interacted with several dignitaries and office bearers during his visit.

He also addressed a group of 10,000 employees of Sima Land trading company, on the invitation of the owner Mr Andrey Simanovsky, Honorary Consul General of India in Ekaterinburg.
