A nation-wide mental health project was launched that aims to reach out and educate the youth in urban and semi-urban areas about mental health and empower them with the tool of meditation for better health.
Gurudev, along with Hon. CM Sri Basavaraj S Bommai, launched the ‘Har Ghar Dhyan’ project, a mental health project where the Art of Living teachers will be engaged as Meditation Coaches. Along with representatives of institutions and interested persons from public, they will reach out to urban masses, especially youth, as Meditation Ambassadors.
This scheme is part of the Jan-Bhagidari model that empowers the urban youth towards better health and creates a more resilient future for the country. The project will be implemented in various phases, starting from the national capital.
The project is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and will culminate on the Independence Day of 2023.
