Standing with humanity while supporting the Coronavirus lockdown.

To stop the exponential spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in India, Prime Minister Modi had called for a nation-wide lockdown.

Anticipating the hardships of the daily wage earners and low income groups, Gurudev initiated a campaign to support the daily-wage earners and low-income groups. These groups found themselves out of work thereby losing their daily income. He urged all those who can to help these people with food and financial support.

Volunteers of the Art of Living with support from local civic bodies in several cities in India have been actively arranging and distributing food and groceries to all the daily wage earners affected by the lockdown.

This initiative, called #iStandWithHumanity, by the IAHV and the Art of Living Foundation was jointly launched with the film and television fraternity which whole-heartedly supported it.

Gurudev appreciated the support by the film and television fraternity for the initiative.

Sportsmen from Kodagu, Karnataka also joined the campaign.
